One last power option, each parallel steps can be declared as “Must Do”. In our example of Step 2 and step 3, we want both steps to complete before we move to step 4, so we use the “Must Do” check box to let Office Conductor know to wait.

However, if we only need one parallel step to complete before continuing, we leave the “Must Do” check box clear. Steps 5, 6, and 7 are authorization steps in our example. If only one authorization is required, set them in parallel with their “Must Do” boxes clear. Once one person completes their step, step 8 will begin.
Any combination of “Must Do” check boxes can be set. This is a powerful way to control complex flows with one simple option.
