About Office Conductor
Office Conductor Status:
Office Conductor is in final development and ready for Beta. All
critical functionality is operational.
The current demonstration site is configured to use the Microsoft Access database and is
quite capable for most client installs. MySQL and Oracle database are available.
The look and feel of OC can be modified as well. We have about 200 style skins to choice from.

For the Techies:
Behind Office Conductor (OC) are years of modern 'Business Process Management' (BPM). However,
terms such as workflows, swim lanes, work queues, exceptions, tasks, roll backs, etc. have been
replaced with more common term used in everyday office environments.
BPMN has been reduced to a simple flow of Action Steps with parallel capabilities. The parallel
flows can be designated as 'Must Do' Action Steps or not. This replaces the logical 'AND' and
'OR' constructed we techies like to think in .
The supporting database is properly normalized with a few exception to allow processes to continue
or recover from real-time masters editing.
Final Point:
The driving force behind OC is to provide practical capabilities in common office environments,
make setup and execution simple and intuitive enough that people will use it. We expect the proficiency
pay backs to clients will be in real dollars and far beyond the initial BPM setup overhead .
